This month we'll be moving away from our regular venue and venturing up to Old Broadcasting House for an exciting GeekUp special.
It's the Yahoo User Interface Library and in the interests of broadening your technological horizons, we've kidnapped Christian Heilmann.
Christian Heilmann He works for Yahoo! UK as trainer and web architect and oversees code quality for the big purple Y! in Europe and Asia. He's also written a book or two and numerous articles on Javascript and web technologies for A List Apart, Ajaxian, Thinkvitamin and Digital Web.
That not enough for you? Well he's a member of the Web Standards Project's DOM Scripting Task Force and if we hadn't hornswoggled him then you'd probably find Chris speaking at a reputable conference like @media ajax or Ajax World.
We've arranged for a real ale bar for the night also serving the usual lager, wine and a few nibbles.
