GeekUp Sheffield takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. It's a grass-roots knowledge sharing and networking social for folks involved or interested in all forms of technology and creative media.

Presentations kick off 8pm sharp, room open from 6pm.

• Management of Agile Processes Finbarr Joy

  Finbarr will be presenting a session on project management and contractual issues within agile processes. Bring your agile-sceptical colleagues and questions about the business aspects of doing agile.

• Cake/PHP Whirlwind Tour Richard Allsebrook

  Richard will be giving us a quick tour of the Cake/PHP, kicking of with a non-techincal review of the framework, and finishing with more technical.

• Plus Open Space for shared conversations and show’n’tells if you want to get feedback on your current projects.
