Nottinghack (@hsnotts) and Geekup Nottingham present RASPBERRY JAM in collaboration with the Nottingham Raspberry Pi User Group - Members of Nottingham Hackspace and CISECO a local electronics company have developed the EVE Alpha that allows ALL wireless devices for home automation and monitoring to be connect to one platform the Raspberry Pi. They will be demonstrating EVE and taking questions, and running a dojo to give you an opportunity to try out the Raspberry Pi (@RaspberryPi) and Eve.
This month they have launched a Kickstarter for EVE too which you can find here.
Bring your Raspberry Pi with you if you have one. Whether you're a Raspberry Pi dabbler, expert, newbie or have never even heard of it, come along and get involved!
GeekUp Nottingham takes place on the first Monday of every month. It's a grass-roots knowledge sharing and networking social for folks involved or interested in all forms of technology and creative media. Also, beer.
