We have a new home at Mercure hotel Nottingham (just over the road from our old venue)
New Year, new start, that may mean a new job, it may mean new employees - in that vein, this month is all about hiring and getting hired.
Sam Wessel (@samwessel) is a software developer who runs the internship and graduate recruitment programme at Esendex in Nottingham (@esendex) he'll talk about how technical people can better represent themselves and their skills to get the jobs they deserve.
Graham Haythornthwaite (@the_big_gh) presents Hiring Software Developers: It Takes One to Know OneFind out how to improve your own recruitment process and hire the best. As a software developer at Red Box Recorders in Nottingham responsible for recruitment, Graham will be talking through the recruitment process and sharing his own tips for success. This will lead into a fish bowl style discussion where you can also benefit from the wisdom of the group. If you've got something to say about recruitment be sure to join us!
